Telephone conversation of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Kazakhstan, with Vladimir Putin, the head of the Russian Federation, took place. The phone call was organized at the initiative of the Kazakhstan.
"Leaders discussed the economic subject, including a situation in the fuel and energy sphere. Akorda and Kremlin swapped opinions on current issues of regional policy. Also, it was mentioned the schedule of bilateral contacts," on the website of Kremlin noted.
As earlier reported, Nazarbayev discussed a situation in oil and gas sector, power industry, the sphere of environmental protection and the nuclear branch with Vladimir Shkolnik, the Minister of Energy. The Minister of Energy reported that the provided decrease in volume of oil production this year to 77 million tons in the subsequent is planned to fill Kashagan due to an input of a field.
