The first robotized drugstore in the country opened in Aktau, Mangistau region. The project was realized by the support of JSC Astana Innovations, Kapital.kz reports.

"Nowadays, much attention is paid to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan. The especially introduction of innovative technologies as for improvement of quality service of the population is becoming more important. Our project "Pharmaceutical Robot" is a product of coproduction of the AsterLabsolutions company (Kazakhstan) and TecnilabGroup (Italy) with the assistance of independent business experts from Germany in the SES program," the director of a drugstore of PHARMA PLUS AKTAU Gulnar Mussina said.

According to her, the main advantages of the pharmaceutical robot are the increase of speed of quality service. Besides, implementation of this project gave the chance to a drugstore to enter the self-serving format with goods for health and to expand the range of goods of the categories "childhood" and "medical cosmetics".

The pharmaceutical robot of the TwinTec model is the automated search engine representing a mini-warehouse and integration of the software with a robotics. The robot carries out search and delivery of medicines from a storage place to a workplace of the pharmacist. Thus, in a database of the robot, there are names more than 1000 preparations and there is a possibility of storage about 10 000 preparations in the robot.

The first pharmaceutical robot appeared in Germany, Italy, and France.
