Ukraine is going to send goods to Kazakhstan getting around the territory of Russia. Ukrainian exporters are planning to start the cargo train which will be delivered the Ukrainian goods to the countries of Central Asia through Georgia and Azerbaijan on January 15, BBC's Russian editor reports.
According to the statement of the prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the route will pass through Black and Caspian seas. For part of a way through the seas will be used ferries.
Since the beginning of 2016 Russia imposed a ban on import and transit of the Ukrainian goods because Ukraine joined a free trade zone with the EU. According to the Russian authorities, the contract between Ukraine and Europe contradicts conditions on which the free trade zone between Russia and Ukraine is created.
Russia suspended a free trade zone with Ukraine and conducted embargo on the import of the Ukrainian products.
