Latvia confirmed official invitation and became the 70th country which presents their green power innovations in Astana EXPO in 2017, commisioner of Astana EXPO Rapil Zhoshibayev reported.

According to Mr Zhoshibayev, Kazakhstan is following up the plan of praticipation for the World Excibition. He noted that Latvia will give a new impulse to the strengthening of the Kazakhstan-Latvian partnership by being a part of Astana EXPO.

Ambassador of Latvia in Kazakhstan Yuris Pogrebnyaks noted that Latvia is not a member of Bureau of International Expositions and took a part in EXPO for a few times. Official confirm shows the interest and the special friendly attitudes of Latvia to Kazakhstan.

Latvia pointed out the readiness for cooperation with Kazakhstan in the development of green power, according to the officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

Latvia became the 70th country which confirmed officially participation in the international exhibition "EXPO-2017" which will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
