Tajik Leader Urged About Coming up Hard Times

Presidents of Tajikistan said citizens to stock up on products in the current government session.

According to Tajik leader's press service, the negative impact on the economy of Tajikistan is exerted by currency fluctuation rate by trade partners who have export-import production relations.

Also, in a message said, Tajik administration will spend less in holding governmental activities.

For the record, the national currency of Tajikistan had lost 24,1% of the cost last year, according to the official exchange rate. In the foreign exchange market, somoni lost 27,8% of its value.

In December 2015, all exchange offices in Tajikistan were closed. Money exchange operations had been allowed only in bank offices. Head of Tajik National Bank accused private exchangers in the devaluation of somoni. Later Tajikistan asked for the International Monetary Fund financial aid because of the instability of world and regional economy.
