Timur Kulibayev, Chairman of National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, suggested adding municipal enterprises of Astana to the list of state properties which are in a process of privatization.
"In a commercial point of view, there are no state properties which are attractive in price and income. We have to understand that prices must not be high in crisis. Investors will definitely not buy if there low profit and high price," Mr. Kulibayev said.
Kazakh Billionaire, Nursultan Nazarbayev's son-in-law, said that objects chosen for privatization aren't too attractive for business.
He also noted that the mission of privatization is not to fill the regional or state budget. It must give a competitive space in domestic business.
