Snap Elections in Kazakhstan to Be a Lesson for Russia, Experts say

Snap elections in Kazakhstan will allow Russia to draw lessons and to draw conclusions before the September re-election to the State Duma, experts say.

As noted in Bnews.kz, he parliamentary election campaign in Kazakhstan is in full swing. The President Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan to ensure control over the observance of the rule of law in the course of preparation and conduct the parliamentary elections on March 20.

According to Russian political analysts, the election campaign in Kazakhstan is closely observed in Russia, which will take "elective baton" on  September, 18.

The well-known expert of the Institute of CIS countries, head of the department of Central Asia and Kazakhstan Andrei Grozin said in an interview with NSN that there is the reason to believe that through snap elections Kazakhstan will be able to further consolidate the country, targeting the new economic breakthrough, especially in times of crisis.
