Border guards detained the 27-year-old citizen of Kazakhstan who tried to go through the borderline with an unusual freight.

According to Committee of National Security (CNS) of Kazakhstan, arrested man wanted to carry 6 pieces of semiprecious nephrite with the gross weight of 12,5 kg. He was going to smuggle the freight to the territory of the People's Republic of China.

"Free-trader was arrested in Khorgas. The stone was withdrawn after searching suspect's backpack,' noted in a press letter.
