History of post service of Kazakhstan includes three main stages of development in the territory of our country.
Post service had started its job experience as the service of information transfer to the government officials. It became later the main delivery service of a local area. The first post office was opened in 1860 in Almaty. The number of offices was arisen to 14 by 1883. This was the first stage of post service development.
The second stage covers the time of the Soviet system. It was reorganized in 1924. As Kazakh Soviet Socialistic Republic was an integral part of a Soviet communication system, during the World War II, post service had a difficult as well as a responsible task to provide a reliable communication between army and centre of control.

The old version of service needed the new formation of development way. For Kazakhstan, it was difficult to transform of all activities of post-branch into the private incorporating system in 1999.
[caption id="attachment_39075" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Photo by sk.kz[/caption]Privatization was held as the self-financing volume which directly affected to the development of the independent policy of external loan for modernization of material and technical resources, development of the strategic directions of development aimed at strengthening of positions of the company in the market including the developed diversification of activity.
Kazakh Post Service became a state-owned again in 2006. Soon after the financial reforms, JSC Samruk-Kazyna bought all stake of company shares and became the only shareholder of Post Service Company.
