Daniar Akishev answered to a question about the status quo of Kazakh National Bank, which was put by one of the users who attended in the internet conference of financial regulator.

According to Tengrinews.kz, Independence of National Bank will be determined by the ability of its monetary policy implementation remaining the status quo even when state departments try to intervene to change the situation.

"Now, this request is satisfied completely. National Bank is directing its all power to macroeconomic conditions, doing monetary policy. It doesn't mean that Kazakh Banks' face is out of coordinative actions by government in monetary, credit, tax and budget policy," Mr. Ekishev noted.
