Construction works on the oil field Kashagan is going by schedule. Sauat Mynbayev, the chairman of the board of JSC KazMunaiGas, said that there were some difficulties on pipeline works.
"Difficulties are over now. Engineers solved the problem which formed during the putting pipelines in the deep sides of the sea. Advanced measures are provided immediately. And we expect to launch oil field's work in October," Mr. Mynbayev said.
He also noted that new oil mining complex will provide with 75 thousand barrels of oil per a day.
For the record, Kashagan is the largest offshore oil and gas deposit in Kazakhstan located in 80 km from Atyrau city, the Northern part of the Caspian Sea.
