President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov has signed the state document about the monetary gifts for women of the country on the occasion of the International Women's Day.

As Turkmenportal noted, monetary gifts from the president are traditionally handed already for a several of years in the country.

"According to the document, during the period of March 1-5 the head of state monetary gifts with the sum of 40 manats (3,5/$1) will be handed to the women who have citizenship of Turkmenistan," written in the in the message.
