State debtors, who have businesses in Aktau City, paid all their credits back as soon as their surnames were written in street billboards.
According to Kazinform News Agency, a budget of Aktau is fulfilled more than 135 million tenges after tagging these four banners in streets of Aktau, the south-western part of Kazakhstan.
"How it became clear, the nonconventional measure was effective. Some of the debtors appeared and paid off to the state as soon as they saw billboards. And even the debtors, whose names were not in the banners yet, tried to come to a compromise and paid their credits," Zhaslan Serik, the manager in chief of the state revenue department on Aktau, said.
As reported earlier, the surnames of 20 debtors, who owed the large sum of money to the city budget, were written with large letters on billboards. This method of the fight against defaulters brought notable results.
