During the meeting of Kazakh National Bank, officials made the decision on its basic rate at the level of 17% with the symmetric corridor of interest rates +/-2%.

Rates on financial operations of continuous access are kept at the level of 19% on granting liquidity and 15% on liquidity withdrawal.

As financial regulator noted, decision-making risks of ensuring the stability of the prices are considered to the maintenance of financial stability and prospects of economic growth.

Preservation of a rate in the conditions of economic delay reflects the need of maintenance of demand for assets of tenge at the existing level.

Following the results of February 2016 the rate of inflation has made 15,2% in annual expression.

The next decision of National Bank on a base rate will be declared on May 5, 2016.
