"Walmart, an American retailer company which operates as the largest retail network, is interested in food products from Kazakhstan," the vice chairman of National Chamber of Businessmen "Atameken" Nurzhan Altayev reported.

According to the palata.kz, "Atameken" signed the memorandum with Chamber of Commerce and Industry of America.

"A number of the companies will visit Kazakhstan in this year by our invitation. Representatives of Walmart set up their schedule to Kazakhstan in March. If they agree and approve of buying food products from Kazakhstan, it will entail development of agricultural business in our country because Walmart works for the whole world," Mr. Altayev said.

According to him, Uzbek company ALIFAR AGROIMPEKS, the company works in the distribution of vegetables and fruit abroad, interested in cultivating fruits in the territory of Kazakhstan.
