Snap election to Lower House of Parliament was held in Kazakhstan last Sunday. The main intrigue was connected with the speech of Kazakh Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev before the elections about the reforms in Constitutional Institute of Kazakhstan.
Mr. President urged not to adjust Kazakhstan to democracy strictly. "Political system of the country will be changed in the future. The democracy is not the beginning of the way. The democracy must be the end of the way. We adopt laws and reform them gradually. Asia has different relations, religions and traditions. All the countries should respect history and culture of each other," he said in his speech.
Before the elections, Head of State let us know that he wishes to see the affordable changes among the staff of Nur Otan in Parliament.
"As you noticed in the list of candidates for the lower house, 60% of current deputies of Mazhilis are changed. We do have different reasons. A couple of them are retirement age, desire to include those who are younger than expected before," President told during the Congress of Nur Otan in the end of January.
Despite all talks about considerable changes, habitual aspects of elections were shown.
State TV channels tried to cover events around the election on March 20. Reports on the air sent people the message that it's difficult to foresee the results of such elections.
Such reports did Alan Spens, The British businessman, who declared violations during the snap elections hadn't noticed. This kind of similar remarks was made by observers of Norway, Austria and Lithuania.
In turn, parliament elections, which was taken place last Sunday, had shown that there were no meaning about the changes in the political system, but the words about democracy in Kazakhstan so far tends not hurry in the speech of the president.
After the results, the of new parliament has reformed out exactly the same as previous up to statistic information. Nur Otan got over 82 percent of all votes when Communistic and Akzhol parties dealt with slightly more than 7 percent.
